On Saturday, March 31st, Geoffrey King of “The Bush Telegraph Boysâ€, spoke at the Kersbrook District Men’s Breakfast.
The theme of the meeting was, “One hundred years of telephonyâ€.
Three other “Bush Telegraph Boysâ€, who collectively brought along items from their collection of telephones, accompanied Geoff.
Some 45 attended the Breakfast and the enthusiasm of the speaker and the range of phones in the display entranced all.
The next Men’s Breakfast will be on Saturday, June 2nd, the guests being members of “The Adelaide Hills Motor Restoration Clubâ€, who restore engines, machinery, cars, etc.
While the Breakfasts are open to all men, those wishing to attend should contact Ross Pollard on 8389 8284 to ensure a booking.
