As March pushes into April, the Mt Pleasant Farmers Market management is gearing up for one of their major calendar events – the Easter Twilight Farmers Market. 

The annual twilight celebration will be held on Easter Thursday, April 14th, from 4pm to 8pm at the Mt Pleasant Showgrounds. The Easter market showcases the best of SA regional food producers, with a diverse product range from fish, cheese and milk, fruit and vegetables, wine and beer, sweets and chocolates, olive oil and honey, jams and preserves, meat, dried fruit, artisan bread, and so much more! 

Market Manager, Terese Stephens said, “This is a great chance to gather your fresh food supplies for Easter in a relaxed country atmosphere with the added satisfaction of meeting and supporting local businesses and the people who grow and produce your food.” 

Local artist Chloe Seabrook will provide musical entertainment, and children’s activities this year include an Easter egg hunt and face painting. Together with loads of dinner options, the market will feature local newcomer gin distillers Black Cat, crowd favourite Rehn Bier and local Elysian Springs Winery. 

After all your shopping is done, you can enjoy the start to the Easter break with outdoor dining and drinks under the beautiful white gums, and this year we open from 4pm to 8pm.
