CE Property Group is proud to release a compilation of winning photographs with the 2020 Community Calendar (available from CE Property Group offices – Birdwood, Mannum, One Tree Hill for $10). All profits will be donated to the Lincoln Park Horse and Human Rehabilitation Centre at Monarto; a charity chosen by the public through a social media poll. The Centre was established to help defence veterans and horses in need, and relies heavily on support from volunteers, fundraising events and donations.
CE Property Group is pleased to be a community focused agency — the ability to give back is an important aspect of their business. Yes, they sell properties, but they also like to support the communities in which those properties are located. People are the backbone of their business and CE Property Group are excited to support local sporting clubs, community groups and events. These ties to community have sparked the desire to start an annual fundraising initiative.
In 2018, CE Property Group launched the inaugural Calendar Photo Competition and 2019 Community Calendar. The Competition was a huge success, with 191 submissions received from 77 entrants. Just over $1,144 was raised from calendar sale profits and distributed to local CFS brigades in Birdwood, One Tree Hill, Mannum and Palmer.
This year, agency owners, Mark and Deann Watkins, continue the fundraising efforts for another South Australian charity, asking amateur photographers and those with an interest in photography to submit photographs that complemented CE Property Group’s corporate colours (purple and/or teal). The resulting entries were fantastic and very creative. Twelve winners were selected by a team of judges with a public vote for the ‘People’s Choice Award’.
“Last year we were blown away with how many people entered and the calibre of entries we received’ said Managing Director, Mark Watkins. “We really wanted to set a challenge this year and were excited to see how entrants interpreted the theme. It was fantastic to see so many local entrants get behind this fundraising initiative and to also see several Adelaide Hills and Murraylands winners”.
