Adelaide Hills girl, Colleen Boyle, has stunned the judges at the South Australian heat of the prestigious Miss Galaxy beauty Pageant.

Colleen will compete for the title of Miss Galaxy Australia next month in Sydney with the 3 other successful state finalists.

“This beauty pageant is one which focuses not only on outer beauty, and the contestants are encouraged to fundraise for Make-A-Wish Foundation”, says Colleen.

“Raising Money for the children’s charity has become much more important to me then winning the pageant!”

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Colleen, who also features in TV Commercials and print work, predominately as a swimwear model, hopes to become a role model in our community.

She has organised a few fundraising events in the area, the major one being a Movie night at the Lobethal cinemas on Saturday, February 23rd.

If Crowned Miss Galaxy Australia in March, she will go on to represent Australia in Florida for the International final.
